This week, I shifted my focus towards including and refining the intro screen dialogue between the player's character and the "guide bird". The purpose of this dialogue is to introduce the concept of "worms" and phishing as security threats to the player. It intends to help the player make the connection between the security threat "worm" and the in-game "worms" regarding paying attention to details. Additionally, it shows the player one possible way that a worm could attack a user's system, which is through links in messages. Other dialogue also introduces the two different worms in the game, red worm and grey worm, and their affect on Birdy. During next week's meeting with my partner, we will discuss the details of the dialogue and whether it serves its intended purpose.
