This was our first week back after our winter break. This week there was no group meeting, so I spent time reviewing the progress already made during the last semester. This helped me determine what ideas I could bring to the table regarding ways to improve the gameplay and aesthetic of our project. Additionally, after talking with our project leader, we decided the gameplay needed to be slightly more challenging to hold peoples' interest. Also, we determined that the learning and review ideas should take place in separate scenes within the game. With these two ideas in mind, I began looking at elements that could make the game more challenging. The addition of obstacles became the new focus, so my partner integrated assets to serve as such. Next week will be our first team meeting of the semester, and I look forward to discussing ways to make our game better moving forward.
