Fall Research 2017: Week 22
This week, we completed the implementation of the question scene for our game. Each coin contains 1 True/False question. Once the bomb enters the 2D box collider and triggers the object (coin) to be destroyed, the question box related to that coin spawns in. After the player chooses their answer to the question, dialog will appear explaining why their answer was either right or wrong. I went through each array to ensure the wording for the questions was correct and the related images spawned correctly. I also returned to the previous scene of main gameplay to review the addition of a "how to play" menu before the game starts. The menu describes the objective of the game, the enemies the player faces, and the function of the controls. Over the next few weeks, we will be bringing the game to completion by polishing the game controls and adding final features such as text to voice and game over cut scene.
