Fall Research 2017: Week 23
This was our final week before spring break. This week, we added the final alpha elements to our game to prepare it for testing. I went back through to spellcheck all dialogue every scene and recheck the positioning and function of in-game sprites. During the following week after returning from spring break, we will have our classmates and other peers test the game for bugs, simplicity of controls, challenging gameplay, and learning objectives. During this time, we will collect notes on their gameplay experience to figure out ways to improve the gameplay or learning principles in the game. This will transition us into the beta build of our game with the necessary improvements.
