Fall Research 2017: Week 6
This week was my first week back since attending the Tapia conference. I had the opportunity to gain so much knowledge and understanding from attending panels and workshops involving a range of CS/IT topics. Particularly, I learned a lot about using research opportunities to their fullest potential. I spoke with many graduate students, professors, and industry professionals about methods they used to bring real application to their research work. I learned about how to better collect and analyze useful data, make revision to our project based on that data, and direct future research work to be a supplement to current progress. I also learned how to properly develop a conference poster and give explanations about our work during a presentation.
I also completed an excel spreadsheet for one of our test session for our phishing game. I looked through the student separated data for both complete and incomplete playthroughs and recorded the number of pre and post-test questions answered, amount of time taken for each level, and how many level 3 questions were answered.
