Fall Research 2017: Week 11
This week I worked on setting up the layout of our office scene. The scene is intended to have different cubicle areas around with a server room in another room. Each table has a computer and worker. Additionally, I began work on a simple UI that imitates a computer screen which the player will interact with. This screen is where the player will monitor network activity and view the data packets as they are coming through. The packets will come in groups of 10 and the player will be responsible to either allowing or denying access to the network. Lastly, we discussed the introduction to our scene and how it should be set up. We decided to creating a sweeping camera that brings the player through the office setting as the "boss" explains your new job position. The camera stops at each important area that the player will interact with, mainly the server room with the main network computer.
